Description:
The tour begins with a visit to Pomaire town, famous for its crafts. Then it continues towards the central coast of the Pacific Ocean, to Isla Negra. This town is known for its dense vegetation and gigantic pines, but most of all because one of Pablo Neruda's -Chilean poet and Nobel laureate for literature- houses is located there. Next stop is Neruda's house-museum with its interesting collection of bottles, bow figureheads of different ships, manuscripts and other special objects that the poet gathered during his lifetime. The architecture of this house is unique as the poet built it using low cost materials which were combined in a special way.
